We have been learning about building addition and subtraction patterns. 

The part that is highlighted is what I am able to do, and the following step is my next learning goal.

I make sure I read the comment from Mrs Tyson to help make my Handwriting neater each time. If there is a yellow smiley face, this means that I am on track with my learning goal.

We have been writing RECOUNT stories. We are learning to use:

-Past tense

-Interesting verbs and adjectives

-Explain what happened- Who? What? Where? When?

-Tell the events in order

-Use time words (in the morning, later, after that...)

My next step is: to use full stops after each sentence 

Colours

Te Reo Maori 

In Room 5 we are learning about colours. We have been learning how to say colours using Te Reo language. Each morning we also practise greeting somebody by asking or responding to a question. 

Kei te pehea koe? (How are you?) 

Kei te pai ahau (I am good)
